Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness and Rural Transformation (SMART) Project :

Maharashtra Village Social Transformation Foundation (MVSTF), Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM), and Maharashtra Agricultural Competitiveness Project (MACP) intend to collaboratively formulate and implement a state of Maharashtra Agribusiness and Rural Transformation -“SMART” Livelihood Project for Rural Maharashtra. The project aims to transform Rural Maharashtra through “SMART” interventions in Agriculture and Livelihood sectors, assisted by World Bank. Over the years, Government of Maharashtra has been consistently putting efforts and resources through various central and state government schemes, programs and projects for development and transformation of agriculture and rural sectors and actively seeking private sector participation in these initiatives. The goal of the project is to enhance the enterprise formation, increasing access to markets; and promoting climate resilience and resource-use efficiency.

SMART Objective :

  • Support value addition in the post-harvest segments of agriculture value-chains;
  • Facilitate agribusiness investments through inclusive business models that provide opportunities to small farmers;
  • Stimulate the establishment of small and medium enterprises; and
  • Support resilience of agriculture production systems to better manage increasing production and commercial risks associated with climate change.

For successful expansion and implementation of the Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness and Rural Transformation (SMART) Project, The The T&M Services Consulting Pvt. Minimum three years’ experience of which 2 years in Monitoring & Evaluationof State/ National level projects. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project. 45 Upto Rs. 60,000/-
4 Associate (Access to finance) 1 Graduate in Commerce/Agriculture & allied field with MBA or equivalent /Graduate in ABM. Minimum 03 years experience of which 2 years in Finance. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project. 50 Upto Rs. 60,000/-
5 Assistant 1 Graduate with MSCIT, English 40wpm & Marathi 30wpm typing speed certificate. Minimum 02 years experience in office assistance 40 Upto Rs. 40,000/-
6 Supply Value Chain Expert 1 Graduate in Agriculture & allied field with MBA (Marketing) / PGDM (Marketing) / PGDABM. Minimum 03 years experience of which 2 years in Agriculture commodity Supply / Value Chain Management. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project. 45 Upto Rs. 75,000/-
7 Accountant (PIU) 1 B.Com with computerized accounting course in Tally & MSCIT. Preference will be given to candidate having M.Com and Diploma in Taxation and Law. Minimum 3 years experience of which 2 years in accounting with tally software. Preference will be given to the candidates having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project or having good typing skill of English and Marathi. 40 Upto Rs. 35,000/-
8 Economist & Financial Advisor 1 Graduate with MBA in Finance/ MBA in Banking and Finance / PGDABM / PGDM in Banking & Financial Services or CA. Minimum 3 years experience of which 2 years in project preparation, economic and financial analysis of projects of Agribusiness and entrepreneurship development. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in world bank or externally aided project. 45 Upto Rs. 75,000/-
9 Accountant (RIU) 1 B.Com, with Computerised Accounting Course in Tally with MSCIT. Minimum 02 years experience of which 1 year in Accounting with Tally Software. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project and having good typing skill of English & Marathi 40 Upto Rs. 25,000/-

11 Economist cum Access to Finance Advisor 1 Graduate in Agriculture & allied field with MBA / PGDABM / PGDM in Banking & Financial Services. Minimum 3 years experience of which 2 years in project preparation, economic and financial analysis of projects, banking & financial institutions. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in World Bank or externally aided project. 40 Upto Rs. 50,000/-
12 Accountant (DIU) 2 B.Com, with Computerised Accounting Course in Tally with MSCIT. Minimum 03 years experience of which 2 years in Accounting with Tally Software. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project and having good typing skill of English & Marathi. 40 Upto Rs. 30,000/-
13 Computer Operator 1 Graduate with MSCIT, English 40wpm & Marathi 30wpm typing speed certificate. Minimum 02 years experience in as computer operator. 40 Upto Rs. 25,000/-
14 Associate (PP/MAP) 1 Graduate in Agriculture & Allied fields with MBA (Marketing) / PGDM (Marketing) / PGDABM. Minimum 03 years experience of which 2 years in Agri. business. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project. 45 Upto Rs. 60,000/-
15 Associate – Supply Chain 1 Graduation in Agriculture or allied Field with ABM/ MBA(Operations/Marketing)/PG diploma in Supply Chain Management. Minimum 3 years’ experience of which 2 years in supply chain management in agriculture commodities. Preference will be given to the officer having experience in Supply and Value Chain and World Bank or externally aided project. 45 Upto Rs. 60,000/-

Selection Procedure :

  • The SMART project will give maximum 15% Hike on last drawn salary to selected candidates & it limit up to their upper limit salary. The above mentioned salary is Upper Limit salary for that post.it is not applicable for consultant post.
