Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness and Rural Transformation (SMART) Project :

Maharashtra Village Social Transformation Foundation (MVSTF), Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM), and Maharashtra Agricultural Competitiveness Project (MACP) intend to collaboratively formulate and implement a state of Maharashtra Agribusiness and Rural Transformation -“SMART” Livelihood Project for Rural Maharashtra. The project aims to transform Rural Maharashtra through “SMART” interventions in Agriculture and Livelihood sectors, assisted by World Bank. Over the years, Government of Maharashtra has been consistently putting efforts and resources through various central and state government schemes, programs and projects for development and transformation of agriculture and rural sectors and actively seeking private sector participation in these initiatives. The goal of the project is to enhance the enterprise formation, increasing access to markets; and promoting climate resilience and resource-use efficiency.

SMART Objective :

  • Support value addition in the post-harvest segments of agriculture value-chains;
  • Facilitate agribusiness investments through inclusive business models that provide opportunities to small farmers;
  • Stimulate the establishment of small and medium enterprises; and
  • Support resilience of agriculture production systems to better manage increasing production and commercial risks associated with climate change.

For successful expansion and implementation of the Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray Agribusiness and Rural Transformation (SMART) Project, The The T&M Services Consulting Pvt. 3 Crop Analyst, Horticulture Post graduate in Economics /Agri. Economics / Statistics / Econometrics. Experience:-Minimum 05 years experience of which 3 years in Agriculture/Horticultural commodity data analysis and familiar to use statistical package for econometric analysis e.g. "R", Reviews, SPSS etc. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project. 45 UptoRs. 1,50,000/-
4 Procurement Officer-VSTF Any Graduate with Certificate in Public Procurement Program of World Bank. Experience:-Minimum 03 years’ experience of which 2 years experience in procurement /procurement audit work in World Bank or any other externally aided project. 45 Upto Rs. 75,000/-
5 Nodal Officer -MAVIM Post graduate degree in business administration/ Post graduate degree in any stream (or) Post graduate in agricultural economics/ agri-business/ veterinary science Experience:- • At least 7 years of work experience and 6 years in private sector business development and value chain management type jobs. Experience in managing and executing large funded projects is preferred. Excellent command over computer is must. • At least 5 years of work experience and 4 years in private sector business development and value chain management type jobs. Experience in managing and executing large funded projects is preferred. Excellent command over computer is must. • Proficiency in English & Marathi language (both written & spoken) 45 Upto Rs. 1,00,000/-
6 Agri Value Chain Specialist Post graduate degree in business administration/ Post graduate degree in any stream (or) Post graduate in agricultural economics/ agri-business Experience:- At least 5 years of work experience and 4 years in executing value chain development project. Experience in validating & evaluating project will be essential. Experience in managing and executing large funded projects is preferred. Excellent command over computer is must. Experience:- Minimum 03 years experience of which 2 years in Agriculture commodity Supply / Value Chain Management. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project. 45 Upto Rs. 75,000/-
9 Procurement Officer-RIU Any Graduate with certificate in procurement procedure for World Bank or externally funded projects. Experience:-Minimum 03 years experience of which 2 years in procurement /procurement audit in Co-operative / Government / Private / NGO sector. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project. 40 Upto Rs. 50,000/-
10 Accountant -RIU B.Com, with Computerised Accounting Course in Tally with MSCIT. Experience:-Minimum 02 years experience of which 1 year in Accounting with Tally Software. Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in World Bank or externally aided project and having good typing skill of English & Marathi. 40 Upto Rs. 25,000/-

Selection Procedure :
